“Creativity is always a leap of faith.”
I love learning and teaching. In fact, my dream was to become a college professor.
In 2018, I co-founded Creative Women’s Lounge—partly to steer our editorial content, but mostly because I loved the name. I thought if creativity was our business beacon, then I’d be creative by association.
Ever the student-teacher, I studied creativity the only way I knew how: through analysis that would lead to conclusions.
I read a lot of books during that time, but none as important as The Artist’s Way.
I learned (irritatingly) that creativity cannot be summed up.
I learned that we’re all creative, but require constant nurturing—and that’s why The Artist’s Way is not a one-time read for me, but a practice of a lifetime.
Teaching The Artist’s Way
Each month, I bring a group together in Boston for inspirational and challenging conversations centered on Julia Cameron’s seminal work, The Artist’s Way.
Twelve chapters to a book, twelve months in a year.
