Julia is a great instructor! I look forward to our weekly Saturday sessions. She pays attention to form to set you up for a good practice.

teaching philosophy

I seek to deliver an authentic voice, sprinkling humor and compassion along the way.

Favorite Sanskrit term: SPANDA, the creative universal pulse that’s constantly expanding and contracting. This philosophy supports the idea that we each have our personal limitations and abilities and—on a larger scale—that we each share in the joys and challenges of everyday living.

I am YogaWorks certified under the tutelage of Natasha Rizopoulos and completed my Anusara Immersion 1 training with Marc St. Pierre and Nikki Jacobs. In 2016, I completed my Urban Priestess certification with Sianna Sherman and Ashley Turner.
